My lace dreams have their roots in my childhood, when I sat next to my grandmother and admired her skill in making Lepoglava lace. With my first uncertain turns, I also dared to join the melodic tapping of the batons, absorbing my grandmother’s patience. Back then, it was just a playful and precious time spent together; today, I give traditional collars a new dimension of contemporary jewellery, and traditional lace a personal signature with small details added in moments of inspiration. The traditional collars, which I turned into jewellery, were made by my grandmother, which makes them a priceless heritage. You can see the original designs on the official website of the Lepoglava Lace Cooperative.
